Asbestos Control Services were employed by Barnmore Demolition to carry out a Pre-Demolition Asbestos Survey of three units within the Elmfield Industrial Site, Dublin.
Three light industrial / commercial units were inspected by ACS prior to demolition by our client. The units had been heavily damaged from vandalism, arson and squatting activities prior to our attendance to site. Asbestos Control Services carried out a detailed inspection of the specified areas whilst maintaining safe working conditions within the buildings. Several areas of structural weakness and fire damage where identified during our works which were subsequently made safe by our client prior to the continuation of our inspection.
Upon completion of our inspection our Asbestos Survey was used to create a bill of quantities for distribution to Asbestos Removal Contractors for the safe removal of identified ACM’s. Specification and Procedural consultation was provided to our client to allow the Asbestos materials to be removed in preparation for the building demolition.
